Illinois & Missouri

I have visited those states a couple of times. I love seeing French names on the street signs; there is so much history everywhere.
this first episode follows my hectic trip to the USA. I'm very excited but have to face a couple of unexpected events. I eventually made it to St Louis.
My first full day in the Midwest was filled with classic cars, Route 66, the Mississippi River, Alton, and Grafton.
one of my favorite memories: a helicopter ride above ST LOUIS! A day full of explorations, visiting the Cahokia Mounts, a Bocce Club on the Italian Hill, and eating at the famous Blueberry Hill.
I also visited the museum located below the Arch, which is brand new and covers 200 years of history. Later that day, I explored the historic St Charles.

I came back to St Louis during the winter of 2024; I visited Hermann, a gorgeous town rich in German culture. There, I visited the cool Caboose Museum as well as the Historic Hermann Museum.
On my last day in the beautiful St Louis, I got to go up to the nation's tallest monument: the Gateway Arch!
This day was spent in Illinois: I tried Dippin Dots, visited the Abraham Lincoln Museum and places along Route 66.
The last days of my winter trip . I experienced quite the scary weather, went to a superb parade in Dogtown for St Patrick's Day, and visited the super cool (and free!) St Louis Zoo.
I went to Kansas City for a weekend in june 2024.
I was super excited to finally try the BBQ. The heat was too much, and the city was fun to explore.
Two more days in KC! We had fun between the zoo, Union Station, and walked the riverfront.
