ARIZONA
From a French person's perspective, or at least a European's, Arizona is a giant Western movie set.

I landed in Albuquerque and slept for one night in New Mexico before going to Phoenix. As the landscape was changing quickly, I saw my first saguaro cactus.
This trip marked my first time driving in the USA. It was a manual jeep, and it was nerve-wracking!
My First Big Hike in Arizona! Hiking Flatiron in the Superstition Mountains was tough and challenging, but the view on top was definitely worth it.
one of my favorite -if not the best- memories from my AZ trip was the sunset horseback riding I did on DAy 5: unforgettable.
On day 4 I visited cave creek, searched for the perfect cowgirl hat, and I got to try Dairy Queen for the first time!

Mid-trip, I saw a rattlesnake for the first time. I got to try chimichanga and shared my thoughts on AZ.

Jerome is worth visiting for its history and stunning scenery. The Fay Canyon Trail felt like being in Jurassic Park!
I made it to a Renaissance Festival and finally saw a roadrunner!

It still seems surreal to me that I've made it to the Grand Canyon.
